I love wearing white in the winter just as much as summer – it not only stands out against the often dreary backdrop of a New England winter, but for me it also offers a nice break from my usual winter uniform of all black. For this look, I’m wearing one of my new favorite cashmere sweaters from Nordstrom which is now on sale for $50. I love that it’s warm enough to wear on its own, but also thin enough to layer with other pieces. In this case it wasn’t too cold outside, so I decided to pair it with a skirt and boots for a more casual look, but I love that the whole outfit is versatile enough to transition easily from day to night with a pair of heels and few more accessories.
Investing in quality pieces not only goes a long way towards staying warm in the winter, but I find that a simple yet elegant staple like this is the perfect piece to keep in your wardrobe all year round.
